SleepMed is a nationwide company that provides diagnostic and treatment services for sleep disorders and epilepsy. Safko has more than 15 years of management experience in the healthcare industry and has been with SleepMed, formerly Sleep Disorder Centers of America, since June 1995 as Director of Corporate Development.

Prior to joining Sleep Disorder Centers of America, Safko served as Director of Physician Relations and Marketing for Lexington Medical Center. She held previous positions in the banking industry including Vice President positions in marketing, sales management and corporate services.

Located in the Company's administrative offices in Columbia SC, Safko has responsibility for corporate communications, business development, marketing and customer relations. She has served on the national board of the American Advertising Federation and served on regional and local boards for community, civic and professional organizations.
