BOSTON, MA -- Sep 29 -- Stuart Tuthill has been elected Vice President, Sales of SleepMed incorporated. SleepMed is a nationwide company that provides diagnostic and treatment services for sleep disorders and epilepsy. Tuthill joined SleepMed, formerly DigiTrace Care Services, Inc., in March 1999 as Director of National Accounts which included management of the Company's hospital collaboration business. He later assumed responsibility for sales and operations of the Atlanta and Detroit offices and then was promoted to National Sales Director.

Prior to joining DigiTrace, Tuthill had over 18 years of sales and marketing management experience at leading medical companies including Johnson & Johnson and Medtronic. Most recently he served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for PhysioMetrix.

Located in the Company's administrative offices in Boston MA, Tuthill has responsibility for SleepMed's field sales organization. SleepMed's team of sales professionals call on physicians who refer patients with suspected sleep disorders and epilepsy. They also maintain relationships with hospitals and physician practices that use SleepMed's proprietary DigiTrace technology, and work with physician groups and hospitals that wish to establish new sleep laboratories.
